Job Description Summary

Seeking an Ausgrid Hub Planner to join Service Stream in our Power team, located initially Pyrmont for training, then in the Seven Hills Power Depot, NSW.
About the Role

Service Stream’s Power division are currently seeking a Ausgrid Hub Planner to be trained by industry experts Ausgrid to co-ordinate, plan, survey, prepare and design outage requirements for pole replacements in Ausgrid’s Sydney area on the behalf of Servicestream.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Initially Pyrmont, then Seven Hills Power Depot, NSW

Reporting Line: Ausgrid Works Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Field visits to verify network configuration
- Using Ausgrid’s WEBGIS, NECF and IT systems
- Preparation of NAR’s (network access requests )
- Planning of switching requirements high and low voltage
- Planning outage areas and customer impact interruptions
- Booking in district operators and restricted operators required for switching
- Liaising with Ausgrid district operator control room
- Creating schematics for outage areas including earthing points for high and low voltage
- Liaising with Servicestream engineers and project staff planning scope of works for outages

About you

In addition to the above, we are looking for an individual who has:

- Preferred but not mandatory would be an engineering background or similar

This position would also suit a line worker looking for career progression into an office role programming and co-ordinating works needing outages and switching of Ausgrid’s distribution network.
