**About your team**

The **Chief Operations Office (COO) **is the engine room of the CBA Group. It is dedicated to running, improving and transforming the processes that deliver products and services to the CBA Group’s customers.

The **Strategic Workforce Planning Team **support the operations teams to drive operational excellence and ensure we can deliver the best possible experience for our customers through the rollout of effective workforce planning initiatives. This includes the end to end delivery of larger transformation and productivity initiatives across our business.

**About your role**
As an **Analyst **you will support the project to form a better understanding of the complex regulatory requirements, data and processes, to identify and solution uplifts for our business.

Although we can work hand in hand with technical delivery teams at times, our team supports _business _improvement and regulatory focused project outcomes.

**In this role you will**:

- Lead requirements elicitation, including workshops to capture requirements. Constructively challenge stated requirements
- Identify relevant stakeholders, select appropriate techniques and processes to derive and manage requirements
- Articulate requirements and communicate business and customer value to the project delivery / scrum team. Help establish a success criteria.

- Experience in a business improvement or regulatory focused Business Analysis role
- Demonstrated experience in banking or financial services.
- Strong process mapping, process improvement and documentation skills (experience with Microsoft Viso is desirable)
- Familiarity with Workforce planning tools
- Strong stakeholder management skills and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience working/building relationships virtually and proficiency with virtual tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, phone calls etc) is essential

- There is an opportunity to work for home in this role, however it is a requirement for all team members to be onsite in South Eveleigh for 50% of their work week. Our glue day is currently Thursday.
- Contribute to the conversion of business and customer needs into functional designs.
- Define problems and opportunities. Perform data analysis that can be used to support or challenge business initiatives.
- Support the project delivery / scrum team to break down work and translate requirements into functional specifications using appropriate method (e.g. backlog creation, user stories, as-built functional documentation etc).
- Contribute to assessment of dependencies and associated risk and compliance implications of requirements and solutions.
- Support business verification testing activities.
- Effectively communicating requirements to stakeholders, managing conflicts, issues, and changes to ensure that stakeholders and project team members remain in agreement on solution scope.
