**About the position**

We are seeking three (3) Independent Member positions across our Board Committees. These include;
- Independent Member - Audit, Finance and IT Committee
- Independent Member - Consumer and Marketing Committee
- Independent Member - Quality Care Advisory Body Committee (Clinical and Human Resources)

Each position requires attendance at and contribution to the Board Committee to which the successful applicant has been appointed. The role of the Independent Member is to support the Board Directors and CEO to bring an impartial and objective perspective to the governance structure of the organisation. As an Independent Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring operational alignment to strategy, transparency, accountability, and ethical decision-making within the relevant Board Committee.

**What you bring to the role**:
It is desirable but not essential to have:

- A tertiary qualification in any of the disciplines listed above.
- An Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) qualification or experience working within Governing Boards.
- Experience in health or aged care services.
- Highly developed communication, representation, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative team.
- A current NDIS Endorsed Working with Vulnerable People Check
