As the Ward Administrative Assistant (WAA), you will be responsible for the provision of administrative, clerical and reception services. The WAA is required to work in close proximity to patients and should have a working knowledge of hospital operations & activities. The WAA must be able to work autonomously, with mínimal supervision and use initiative and judgment. You will be required to maintain a collaborative working relationships with the multidisciplinary team and people and culture consultants.

To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience as a Ward Administrative Assistant/Administrative Assistant, experience working in a clinical environment and experience working with distressed patients/carers with empathy. You will need problem solving and decision making skills, the ability to plan and prioritise work and meet deadlines and the ability to exercise discretion and confidentially in matters relating to patient information.
