- **SCHOTT MINIFAB is looking to grow their laboratory operations with the addition of a Reagent Formulation Technician to their strong team***

Schott Minifab is currently recruiting a **Reagent Formulation Technician** **to join their manufacturing team. Reporting to the Lead Scientist - Reagent Integration, the Reagent Formulation Technician will carry out reagent production on a daily basis along with other laboratory duties, supporting current and upcoming development projects.

**Duties of the role include (but not limited to)**:

- Perform laboratory techniques in a GMP environment and follow GDP when recording data
- Assist in resolving any technical issues that may arise in the reagent manufacturing process
- Manage stock and inventory of all consumables and reagents
- Working to the production schedule to meet targets
- Adhere to SOPs and Batch History Records

**Essential Skills and Requirements**:

- Minimum of a Bachelor degree in chemistry, biochemistry, immunology, molecular biology, biotechnology, or life sciences related discipline
- Experience using standard laboratory equipment and instrumentation (balances, pipettes, ph adjustment etc)
- Reagent formulation experience would be desirable
- Sound understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), GDP (Good Documentation Practices) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) requirements
- Competent computer skills
- Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Quality Management Systems experience (e.g. ISO13485) would be advantageous
