**About the role**

In this role no day will be like the other and you can look forward to a challenging and varied role. Working alongside clients with differing support needs you will provide them with the assistance they require to live independently in their own homes.

The types of support you will provide, include:

- Helping with domestic duties, shopping, meal preparation and other housework;
- Ensuring safe and hygienic living conditions in their own homes;
- Assisting with activities of daily living;
- Personal care, including showering, dressing, manual handling, continence/ bowel care;
- Community access out and about in the community:

- Adherence to the clients' care plan
- Activity programs

Within this position, you may be required to work a weekend per fortnight, morning and afternoon/evening shifts. A minimum availability of 3 days per week would be highly regarded.

It is important that you are a confident relationship builder, as you will be a trusted person in our clients' homes.

To be suited to these positions, you will have:

- Experience in providing excellent customer service;
- A minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, or **relevant experience**:

- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- A current driver's license and willing to use own insured and reliable vehicle for work
- Working With Children’s Check
- Physical capacity to carry out the duties required, including house & manual handling work

Central coast compassionate care are a small family owned and operated service providing 1.1 individual support, disability care services, respite trips, community access and children activity programs.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: Up to $52.00 per hour
