About the role
Two permanent full time opportunities to provide a high level of customer support and inventory management to deliver a highly effective, timely and responsive service across Metro North Health.
About you
- Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Provide expert leadership to direct and manage the performance and operations of the Supply Chain team including rostering and leave coverage coordination, while maintaining, monitoring and ensuring compliance with financial, human resource, asset management and legislative requirements.
- Promote a culture of high-level customer service across the Supply Chain to build relationships with customers (clinical and non-clinical staff) and suppliers using well developed written and oral communication skills, negotiation skills and the ability to articulate the customer's needs to the team.
- Coordinate the flow of information for supply related enquiries, resolving day-to-day stakeholder challenges, maintaining effective relationships with supply stakeholders, ensuring sufficient supply/distribution staffing levels.
- Proactively identify and solve potential purchasing and supply issues, including pricing variations, receipting, and invoicing discrepancies, interrogation of vendor proof of delivery, approval of Storage Location (SLOC) creation, pursuing of credit note/remedies to the benefit of Metro North.
