As a Civil Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing water and utilities projects in the Newcastle area. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful execution of construction and maintenance activities related to pipelines, pump stations, and water treatment plants.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate civil construction teams in water and utilities projects.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipelines, pump stations, and water treatment plants.
- Ensure that projects are completed within the specified timeframe and budget while adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute projects effectively.
- Monitor and report project progress, identifying potential risks and proposing corrective actions.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to guarantee a safe working environment for all workers.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the construction teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil construction with a focus on water and utilities projects.
- Proven experience in overseeing projects involving pipelines, pump stations, and water treatment plants is essential.
- Strong knowledge of water infrastructure construction processes and methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field are desirable but not mandatory.

**Additional Information**:

- This position is based in Newcastle, NSW, and may require occasional travel to project sites within the region.
