**About the Role**:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Construction Lawyer to join our client on a secondment basis (minimum 6-12 months with the potential to extend). Our client is a leading complex infrastructure contractor, and this role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with their legal team, providing support on a diverse range of construction law matters and assisting in some of Australia’s largest infrastructure projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in managing construction-related legal cases, including drafting contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in construction law.
- Support senior lawyers in negotiations, dispute resolution, and client meetings.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks.
- Provide general legal advice on construction law issues.

**Qualifications**:

- Australian-qualified lawyer with up to 2 years of experience in construction law.
- Strong knowledge of Australian construction law and regulations.
- Excellent drafting and research skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Full Australian working rights - we are unable to provide sponsorship at this time.
