Purchasing Officer

**Duties include**:
- Updating, raising and receipting of purchase orders
- Liaising with customers and suppliers on order status
- Data Entry of customer orders and overseas product purchases using Advanced MYOB
- Ordering and buying stock from suppliers
- Producing delivery dockets
- Creating invoices
- Assisting answering incoming calls
- Processing EFTPOS/Visa payments
- Booking and managing couriers/freight pick ups
- Maintaining the Quality Management System and spreadsheets
- Filing
- Organising dispatch of items
- General office duties
**Skills/Attributes required**:
- Purchasing experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Solid Administration experience
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- _**High level attention to detail a must**_*
- Accurate data entry skills
- Professional telephone manner
- A quick learner
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Well presented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- _**Advanced MYOB software experience**_
- 100% Reliable and punctual
- Willing to commit
- Drivers license/car
- **This role is an ongoing role with the view to go permanent. **_
- **Days**:_Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday
- **Hours**_: 9.00am - 5.00pm
- **Hourly Rate**:_ $35 (depending on experience)
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $34.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
**Experience**:
- Purchasing / Administration: 2 years (preferred)
- MYOB: 2 years (preferred)
**Language**:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver Licence (preferred)
