**About the Role**

As a Boilermaker you will handle maintenance and repair services for the Processing Plant Dewatering Filters area at Karara mine site. This is a 10 day Major Plant Shutdown with the opportunity to move to a long-term rostered role.
- Position is **FIFO** from Perth or **DIDO** from Geraldton
- Casual: Dayshift $54.50p/h | Nightshift $59.95 p/h
- Superannuation contributions will be paid at 7.6 Hrs / day for all days worked at site
- Accommodation and meals are provided onsite
- Karara Mine is located 250km inland from Geraldton and only a 45 minute flight from Perth
- Commencement date: 10th March 2023
- Demobilisation date: 21st March 2023

**Duties**
- Undertaking preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with the maintenance planning systems and recommending appropriate follow up action.
- Carrying out all activities with the whole job scope, including pre work, preparation of JHA’s, execution, testing, and completion of tasks.
- Undertake rebuilds on slurry and centrifugal pumps as well as with associated piping and valves.
- Fault finding and trouble shooting to limit downtime and improve the operational effectiveness of the automated including predictive and preventative maintenance measures.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in resource (sectors desirable)
- Ability to follow verbal & written instructions
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Boilermaker)
- Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry tickets (2 years from issued date)
- Nationally accredited OHS card (White card)
- Driver’s Licence
- Must pass Pre-employment Medical, DAS and Respirator Fit Test
- Onsite D&A test carried out daily
- Valid working rights in Australia
- Eastern States applicants are welcome to apply

- Boilermaker: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- AU Driver Licence (preferred)
- Boilermaker / Fabrication Trade Certificate (required)
