IT Technician

One World Rental have a fantastic new Permanent Part Time opportunity for a Computer / IT Technician to join a thriving company with international offices with a view to grow. You will be gaining experience and exposure in several areas of the business from our in house technical team, field services as well as on site event technology installations and support.

Our brand new Sydney branch is building a team and we are looking for new team members to grow with us.

This is the ideal role for a IT Tech looking to join a company with big ambitions and have the opportunity to work with a range of major international organisations across industry backgrounds including music festivals, sporting events and corporate events.

You would be assisting in preparing of IT technology and devices such as tablets, laptops, EPOS systems, Wi-Fi kit, VR equipment and a host of otehr IT and AV equipment. All training provided in-house.

Your duties will include:

- Pick and pack IT equipment for deployment
- Set up the IT equipment to client specifics
- Recieve equpment that has been used on-site
- Work with on-site teams, providing support as and when required
- Be a part of a new, exciting and rapidly growing team
- Get involved with operational and logístical planning

**Requirements**:

- Previous work experience as IT assistant or Technician preferred
- Previous events/hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours as per event schedule covering all days and hours.
- Must have a genuine interest in technology with a willingness to learn
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management
- IT background is a plus
- Adaptable and calm under pressure
- Problem solving

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 35 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
