Account Payable and Receivable Supervisor wanted for leading Bendigo Manufacturer

Our Bendigo based client is on the lookout for an account payable and receivable supervisor that can hit the ground running If you have experience in AR and AP, and have a desire to manage or currently manage a team, then see the details below.

Role Overview:
As an Accounts Payable and Receivable Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance. Your responsibilities will span both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and will require you to action accounts payable and receivable tasks with the wider team, not just manage the team and its functions. This is a permanent position with opportunities for growth and development within our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable:

- Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process.
- Review and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies. Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts payable records.- Accounts Receivable:

- Monitor incoming cash, direct debit, and credit card transactions.
- Investigate and resolve collections by analysing client payment plans, history, and credit lines.
- Update receivables by recording and tracking unpaid invoices. Reconcile cash receipts with bank statements.- General Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the Group Payroll Manager on day-to-day administration tasks.
- Improve collection systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with employment law, superannuation requirements, and tax legislation.
- Address internal queries related to accounts.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum two years of experience in a large professional organisation handling high-volume accounts.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, ATO rules, and superannuation.
- The ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with effective communication and analytical abilities.
