**The Opportunity**

This position will work to develop, automate, maintain, and govern the Business Intelligence, reporting and data analysis in Centurion, and to deliver financial insights and solutions to support business planning, decision making across the business and improve financial and operational performance.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Convert financial data into automated and easy to use dashboards and reports
- Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and anomalies in Key Performance Indicators and Operational efficiency insights to support business decisions and drive improvement initiatives
- Liaise with internal stakeholders at all levels to identify key business requirements and metrics to deliver reporting requirements
- Source, extract and transform data from various sources including SQL, in house systems, websites and excel files
- Enforce Data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and integrity
- Use data to create models that help improve business efficiency and predict trends
- Provide training and support to stakeholders on data analysis tools, reporting platforms and data management best practices
- Ability to identify data deficiencies and work with the business and/or development teams to propose and implement solutions for improved data quality

**Skills & Experience**
- Degree or Diploma in IT related field
- A proven data analyst professional with demonstrated commercial and financial reporting
- Experience developing and delivering advanced Power BI reports and dashboards
- 2+ years’ experience working with financial data and financial teams
- Strong financial understanding, high degree of analytical skill and sound knowledge of business procedures
- Commercial experience in SQL and Python
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
- High attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and progress. A positive and proactive attitude
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
