You will be proficient with creation and troubleshooting of Tableau dashboards. You'll have a understanding of data modelling as well as dimensional and relational concepts (like Star
- Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact and Dimension Tables) and will be used to working closely in teams supporting and being supported by solution designers, data engineers, other BI specialists and other analysts on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery.

You will be well-versed in requirements gathering, risk analysis, project planning, scheduling, testing, defect tracking and reporting. Solid understanding, design and implementation of database semantic layers is expected.

**You’ll**:

- Work with other BI Specialists to understand business workflow requirements and the reporting artifacts required by those workflows.
- Develop reporting protypes in Tableau based on requirements derived from current and proposed business workflows.
- Document Tableau Protypes and their source data requirements to internal Tableau developers that will productionise dashboards leveraging Teradata frameworks and expanding existing semantic layers to give life to your prototypes.
- Provide oversight and documentation to Salesforce development teams as to where completed Tableau Dashboards should be surfaced within Salesforce workflows.
- Responsible for engaging exec and middle management stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional requirements. This includes user story design and validation of the technical feasibility in implementing the requirements.
- Engage with revenue sales teams, finance, and product to distil business requirements into mínimal but robust analytics solutions.

**You have**:

- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Extensive experience with BI processes and visualisation platforms - Tableau is mandatory.
- Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases. _Teradata and Cloudera dashboard integration experience highly desirable_
- Working knowledge of Tableau administration duties - users/groups management, instance scheduling etc
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Comfortable in conducting user training sessions on dashboards creation and usage in Tableau
- Confident in delivering design documentation and best practices in BI development.
