B1 Lame

REX is seeking suitably qualified individuals to join the REX Group as a full-time B1.1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) at our base in Melbourne (Tullarmarine), Victoria.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of history and at the forefront of REX's domestic airline expansion.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on Regional Express Group aircraft and aircraft components within a maintenance team.
- Ensure all maintenance and repairs are carried out to a high standard, ensuring integrity and robustness of aircraft to meet operational requirements
- Participate in aircraft recovery when necessary
- Observe all standards and procedures contained within Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulations, as well as individual aircraft systems maintenance.

**Essential Selection Criteria**:

- CASA Part 66 B1.1 Type rated with Boeing 737-800 (preferably Unrestricted)
- A demonstrated ability to perform aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting in accordance with regulatory requirements, under mínimal supervision and to strict deadlines.
- A sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and documentation
- Working knowledge of WH&S procedures
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- A high level of motivation with a team-focused work ethic
- Flexibility with working hours
- A valid driver’s License
- Meet the necessary requirements to hold an Aviation Security Identity Card and Airside Driving License.
