Working with a highly experienced forward-thinking team, reporting directly to the Head of Internal Communications to develop, deliver and evaluate timely, dynamic and integrated internal communications to Rest employees to drive engagement; promote a shared understanding of Rest’s culture, brand and member proposition and help achieve Rest’s strategic goals and objectives.**Key responsibilities include**:

- Draft a range of communication materials to engage and inspire Rest employees
- Manage and develop compelling content for Rest’s internal communication channels such as digital screens and intranet including visuals, videos, presentations etc
- End-to-end management and delivery of internal communications projects and campaigns for Rest employees
- Partner with the business to provide communications support and advice including working on some project and change-related communications.
- Run internal events including employee briefings, social and wellbeing activities with responsibility for the budget and vendor relationships.
- Champion the Rest brand and style guidelines.

**About You**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical terms simply using plain English
- Excellent time management and negotiation skills including working under pressure with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities to meet deadlines
- Experience developing communication materials and messaging across different mediums and audiences
- Intranet content and channels management, including experience in back-end systems
- Be personable, work proactively in a small team, and operate autonomously where required
- Sound relationship building skills with proven ability to develop positive working relationships with multiple key stakeholders
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in communications/marketing or related discipline
