Laser Cutter

**The Organisation**

JK has partnered with a large local steel fabrication supplier and manufacturer in Acacia Ridge. Our client currently services an array of industries including but not limited to; heavy transport; mining; construction and furniture. We are currently looking for Laser Operators for an immediate opportunity working Monday to Friday from 7:00am 3:30pm, with an early finish available on Fridays. This position offers overtime opportunities. With many custom projects, this role offers a lot of variety in day-to-day responsibilities.

**The Role**

You will be responsible for the set-up, loading and operation of the laser cutting machine. You will also read and understand production documents. You will conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting where required. You will also be performing quality control checks on all materials produced.

**The Requirements**
- Comfortable working in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Prior experience operating a laser cutting machine
- Ability to learn and pick up on new things quickly
- Positive attitude
