We are currently looking for a Field Service Technician to join our Transformers Service team in Welshpool, Western Australia The focus for this role is to execute Installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance activities specific to customer requirements. Proactively identify potential opportunities to improve reliability of equipment and recommend actions through communication with the customer thereby contributing to service growth. **Responsibilities**:

- Analysis of Transformer and Accessories Condition
- Prepare Repair Work scope
- Disassemble, Re-assemble, Test, and Commission Transformer
- Prepare and Finalise Test and Commissioning Reports inc ITP’s
- High Voltage Test Bay assistance and witnessing
- Ensure safe working procedures and practices are always followed including the wearing and
- Model safe work behaviours in all aspects of work and actively identify hazards and risk controls
- Ability to prepare SWMS, ABRA and Take 5’s in line with current WA Legislation and Hitachi Energy Safety Policies and Procedures

Your background
- Minimum of 5 years HV Transformer trades experience within Field Service of Transformers
- Experience within Workshop and Manufacturing environments is a plus
- Possess high level of commercial acumen (Essential)
- Minimum Electrical Trade background and Electrical License with prior recognized learning in HV Transformers
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering a plus
- Proficient with computers including MS Word and Excel
- Ability to prepare a Scope of Work from Analysis and quote where required.
