**The opportunity**

Device Technologies are seeking a 6 Month fixed term contract Accounts Payable Officer to join the Finance Team in our Belrose office. The successful applicant will thrive in a busy fast-paced office environment.

This is an opportunity to join high preforming and friendly Accounts Payable team and reporting to Accounts Payable Manager.

**The responsibilities of the Accounts Payable officer will include the following**:

- Matching invoices to purchase orders and ensuring the goods have been receipted and orders appropriately authorised
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies of unmatched invoices
- Responding to account queries and follow up.
- General ledger coding
- Reconciliation of monthly supplier statements
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor Accounts Payable mailbox
- Involvement in the end of month processes
- Adhoc duties as required

**Experience required**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable
- Solid understanding of basic accounting and accounts payable principles.
- Accurate data skills
- Ability to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to priorities and multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate computer software skills including Excel and SAP
