The day to day...
- Work directly with the Director of Engineering to manage the diverse Tech team
- consisting of architects, front-end engineers, back-end engineers, QA analysts, marketing automation specialists, and DevOps engineers.
- Collaborate with the Director of Engineering and tech leads across various teams to scope, define, resource and deliver projects.
- Working with other technical leads, solution architects and business analysts to define functional and technical specifications, solution architecture, development, and quality assurance enforcing best practice across the team, and ensure strong deliverability and profitability for the department.
- Be the supporting point for the engineering team to deliver high quality code across front and back-end integrations, database and hosting configurations, and ongoing project support.
- Mentor team members, maintaining and expanding our engineering process to consistently stay on up-to-date with the changes in software engineering, to ultimately deliver best in class digital projects.

Your capabilities
- Past experience managing teams within a Digital Agency environment.
- The ability to mentor team and assist Operations and HR to nurture and grow existing teams.
- Experience working across backend and one of the public cloud environments (AWS, GCP or Azure) across a variety of client verticals.
- Experience with running a Marketing Automation program at a previous enterprise using at least one enterprise tooling such as Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign Classic, Oracle Eloqua, Oracle Responsys, SAP Hybris or equivalent.
- Fluency in one or more backend programming languages: Java 8+, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with AdTech and MarTech concepts including but not limited to: 1st party data, Remarketing, Media Activation, Custom Matching.
