Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview was established in 1880 as a Catholic boys’ school in the Jesuit tradition. Located on Cammeraigal Country, in Sydney’s lower north shore, Saint Ignatius’ College is an independent school for boys, delivering a holistic education to both day and boarding students from Years 5 to 12.

The College is seeking to appoint an outstanding PDHPE teacher in a 0.5FTE temporary position commencing 24th July until 22nd September, 2023.

The successful applicant will:

- hold the appropriate teaching qualifications and be eligible to teach in NSW
- be an outstanding classroom teacher of PDHPE across Stages 4, 5 and 6.
- demonstrate collaborative practices and a commitment to working as part of a team
- demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional learning
- demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the Mission and Values of the College
- be willing to contribute to the Co-curriculum Programs at the College
- hold a current Working with Children Check and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and well-being of children and young people
- accredited with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) to be eligible to teach in NSW.
