Your Opportunity
As the Educational Planner you will be responsible for coordinating and undertaking key bi-annual educational planning activities for the delivery of domestic, commercial and international training programs for the Faculty of Nursing and Community Services and the Faculty of English Language and Migrant Education.
The role will require you to have in-depth knowledge on the creation of training products for complex training delivery scenarios, with a strong focus on accuracy to ensure program offerings are created compliant with training package rules, and state and Commonwealth funding requirements.
This position reports to the Manager, Educational Operations.
This is a Temporary Full-time position until 31 March 2025, unless otherwise determined.
The position will be based primarily at South Bank however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the success of transformation and cultural change through promoting and modelling the established values of Safety First, Working Together, Focussing on our Customer, Taking Responsibility and Showing Initiative.
- Live a safety culture, lead by example and support the Health Safety and Environment Management System to create a TAFE Queensland Brisbane-wide safety culture.
- Provide advice and support the development of delivery scenarios, delivery plans, funding obligations, price lists, timetable information, FEE-HELP/VET Student Loans fee schedules and census dates to ensure alignment with legislation, policy, procedure, business rules, funding and training package lifecycle requirements.
- Liaise and work with delivery teams to create planning documents that will be used to create training products within the Student Management System (SMS)
- Provide, coordinate and research program information required to support marketing and sales campaigns including Intranet/web-based information, brochures and program guides with a focus on enabling accurate and timely information for customers.
- Actively work with internal and external stakeholders to drive customer focused practices and intervention strategies, resolve operational issues and investigate complaints.
- Maintain knowledge of the Region, its services, products and policies and utilise this knowledge to make informed, consistent decisions that support business initiatives.
- Collaborate with a broad network of senior administration professionals; actively participate in appropriate networks, forums, professional development and student or client engagement and marketing activities to support the strategic direction of TAFE Queensland.
- Undertake all work in accordance with relevant legislation including TAFE Queensland policies and procedures.
- Maintain an understanding of the commercial aspects of TAFE including financial and business performance and any impact from external factors.
