**The opportunity**

We have an incredible opportunity for an experienced Buyer to join the team at Culture Kings on a full time permanent basis. In this role you will have a strong understanding of latest streetwear trends, excellent forecasting ability and a commitment to delivering commercial success and growth across your categories.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working alongside planning to assist in managing and growing your categories and sales
- Monitor aged inventory and action poor performing styles in line with reduced to clear processes in line with margin targets
- Ensure accurate inventory data for use through-out the business
- Manage product lines for all promotions
- Working in conjunction with Inhouse Designers contributing to increase of sales in house brands and on-going brand development
- Identify and forecast top selling styles
- Assortment planning, buying season and core lines
- Maintaining appropriate and up to date information in regard to market trends current product knowledge to Management and Inventory and Inhouse teams.
- Develop, manage and maintain strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and Suppliers
- Analyse market trends, consumer preferences, sell through, seasonal demands to formulate a buying practice in line with company objectives
- Negotiate with suppliers on product pricing, payment terms, freight costs, marketing rebates and promotional activities

**Skills & Experience**:

- 3+ years’ experience as a Category Manager/Buyer - fast fashion highly desirable
- Ability to develop, manage and maintain strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional understanding of the fast fashion market, with an ability to interpret trends and build ranges to ensure brand cohesion and variety
- High level of written and oral communication & negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Proficient computer literacy skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
- Strong ability to analyse and review data
