**About the Role**

Due to ongoing growth, our service operations are expanding, and we have a permanent, full-time opportunity available for a **Trade Assistant - Heavy Commercial Vehicles** to join our growing and passionate team.

This valued position will require a mechanical fitter background with a willingness to:

- Utilise skills and knowledge to assist mechanics when diagnosing problems with a range of fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks as per Mort & Co Transport and Service Centre scheduling
- Communicate with external parties and suppliers in a courteous manner
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop
- Assist in reducing risks and hazards and improving quality

**About You***
- Relevant experience in maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles
- Ability to assist in delivering excellent customer service to a loyal customer base
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety
