The Enterprise Sales Manager is responsible for managing and leading the Australia and New Zealand Enterprise field sales team by overseeing sales from new and existing customers in conjunction with Veeam alliance partners and Veeam channel partners.
**Responsibilities**
- Drives, manager and execute the business and revenue of an Enterprise sales team, develops, coaches and trains sales staff
- Experienced in working with and leveraging a highly matrix style organization that includes inside sales, channel sales, marketing, and sales engineering
- Analyses regional market dynamics in an effort to maximize existing successes and to create new sales growth opportunities
- Educates team on significant industry factors including competitive products, regulations, trends, customer needs, and pricing
- Prepares forecasts, territory/ industry management, and growth plans
- Establishes and reports on metrics to measure team performance, correct deficiencies where necessary
- Supports sales processed with resellers that include quotation and proposal efforts to partners, prospects, and customers
- Serves as contact for large enterprise partners and their clients and leads sales actions to close large deals when necessary
- Ensures that the sales plan is aligned with and supports the corporate revenue goal
- Recruits, hires and trains staff members; fosters a successful and positive team environment
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree required (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
- Experience with vendors associated with Virtualisation, storage/ infrastructure and/or disruptive technology is strongly desired. Alternatively, working within a reseller organisation is also desirable
- 5+ years of mid-market to enterprise software sales; direct and channel sales experience required with experience managing resellers at both a strategic and a tactical, transaction-based level.
- Has a deep understanding of large commercial plus state andamp; Federal government and how policies and procedures influence engagement.
- Has extensive contacts in large commercial and government agencies.
- Proven ability to develop new sales with strong cold-calling and prospecting skills.
- Exceptional territory planning abilities required, aligned to identifying and closing new business
- Ability in working with and selling through the channel
- Must have knowledge of solution selling and value-based selling techniques.
- Must be available to travel within the region and periodically overseas.
- Be a self-starter with the ability to learn quickly.
- Be a high-energy salesperson who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly.
- Strong Hunter mentality and associated activity levels are a must
