**About the opportunity**

As our **Retail Postage Sorter**, you’ll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you’d expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day - and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.

**Role Details**

**_ Our relief team will be allocated shifts at multiple Post Offices within a geographical location, a willingness to work at multiple locations is a requirement of this position_**
- Relief locations include: Dandenong Plaza, Berwick, Emerald, Dandenong South and Chelsea Post Offices
- Permanent Part Time - ongoing role (15 hours per week)
- Monday - Friday, 3 hour shift between (6.30am - 10.30am), start time will vary depending on Post Office location

**You’ll be**:

- Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace
- Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes
- Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance

**About you**

You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously. You’re motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community. You'll also need to:

- Call upon your memory and hand-eye coordination while sorting
- Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift
