**Development Assessment & Duty Planner**
- **Salary $73,055.01 to $84,742.88 p/a + super**
- **Permanent full time position - 35 hours per week**:

**About Ku-ring-gai Council**

Located 16 km’s north of the Sydney CBD, the Ku-ring-gai area covers 84km2, is home to 124,000 residents and set in one of New South Wales’ most attractive natural environments.

**About the role**

**Duties**
- Preparation of assessment reports
- Providing professional advice to consultants, developers, the community and state government agencies
- Representing Council in court, at panel meetings and on site meetings

**Skills & experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or a related discipline
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with particular emphasis in the areas of consultation, negotiation, and conflict management
- Local Government experience preferred
