**Track Superintendent**
McConnell Dowell is seeking an experienced Track Superintendent to join our team working initially on the delivery of the Midland Station Cale Street (MSCS) project.- Competitive permanent, full-time remuneration package

**About the role**
- Your new role as a Track Superintendent will see you initially working on Midland Station Cale Street (MSCS) project. The MSCS project will involve the design and construction of a new three platform station, commissioning and interconnection with existing freight and passenger rail line networks, as well as decommissioning and demolishing the existing 53-year-old station.
- The track scope relating to the Midland Station works is very interesting and involves Standard, Narrow and Dual Gauge track structures thought-out
- Ensure that the project is compliant with technical specifications, applicable legislation, approvals, standards, and risk management processes.
- Support the development of the track design from reference through to detailed design stage and rail Systems Lead with the logistics for procurement, deliveries and distribution of materials and equipment
- Manage and execute the delivery of the track scope in line with the requirements of the client and the project specification
- Manage and be accountable for track installation activities
- Oversee and support construction methodologies, staging and overall constructability of the design solution
- Assisting the business with endeavours for new works including forming part of project tenders.

**About you**
- Trades qualification and or competencies relevant to rail construction and maintenance activities
- Extensive track construction experience and knowledge of project management structure, plans, specifications, standards, and implications for project accountabilities
- Working knowledge of internal cost management processes
- Strong and proven ability to lead, direct and manage groups of diverse employees.
- Committed to team performance and operating to organizational values and objectives
- Demonstrate sound people management skills by managing work and performance of subcontractors to achieve outcomes
- Demonstrated working knowledge of industry standards
- Experience on Dual Gauge track infrastructure is highly sought after
- Experience working in an urban electrified network is desirable
