**About the role **We are looking for **Fibre Splicer** to join our WA team.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Fibre splicing and integration training to workforce including both NBN DFN & LFN fiber network;
- Installing communications racks and structural supports;
- Installing equipment line cards, fibre SFP modules and associated interfaces.
- Installing network equipment including earthing and DC power cabling;
- Fibre Installation (Preparation, handling hygiene & termination of Ribbon & Multi-core fibre);
- Fault Finding;
- Eabelling to required standards;
- Testing - Insertion Loss Testing & OTDR of all Fibre Cables
Integration of FTTN, FTTB and FTTC equipment
- Scope of works preparation, material ordering and reconciliation;
- Ability to read, understand and mark-up telecommunication plans
- Safety & Quality Inspections & Non Conformance Reporting;
- Maintain the skill levels of workforce to meet client needs.
- As-Built Documentation including red lines, artifacts and completion of fibre workbooks;
- Sound understanding of WHS requirements including WIs, SWMS & Risk Assessments.
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
To be considered for this opportunity you will have the following skills and experience:
- More than 1 year working experience in Fibre splicing, trouble shooting and team management on a major telecommunication network.
- NBN enable qualified.
- First Aid & CPR required.
- Construction Card (White Card) required.
- Fibre splicing and testing certificates required.
- Traffic Management card (Yellow Card) preferred.
- Confined space & gas detection preferred.
- Working at height preferred.
- Extensive understanding of networks.
- Can do attitude.
- Australian (C Class) Drivers Licence required.
- Police check (within 6 months): Must be clear with no convictions.
- Full Australian Work Rights.
- Position requires willingness to get Flu and Covid Vaccinations as we may work in the Aged Care sector.
**Cable Hauler**
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cable hauling for ribbon and lose tube fibre including 1 Fibre up to 432 Fibre.
- Understand NBN hauling rules and standard.
- Pipe proving / RRP.
- Basic blockage clearing skill including dig down repair and flush.
- Scoping, site survey and feedback information to back office.
- Daily report of work completion status has to be submitted to your supervisor.
- Installing telecommunications pit and pipe by any means.
- Locating underground assets.
- Blockage clear: dig down repair and flush with pressure water.
- Identify and locate underground asset.
- Manual trench and install telco conduit.
- Groundomat and install telco conduit.
- Concrete breakout and reinstatement.
- Bitumen breakout and reinstatement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To be considered for this opportunity you will have the following skills and experience:
- 1-3 years working experience in telco cable hauling.
- Previously onboard to Downer/Lendlease/ServiceStream/ etc.
- NBN enable qualified.
- First Aid & CPR required.
- Construction Card (White Card) required.
- Traffic Management card (Yellow Card) required.
- Confined space & gas detection required.
- Working at height required.
- Australian (C Class) Drivers Licence.
- Police check (within 6 months): Must be clear with no convictions.

**Telco Rigger**
Role responsibilities:
- Installing, testing and maintaining all types of telecommunications vendor equipment (e.g. Nokia and Ericsson equipment)
- Installing, commissioning and troubleshooting microwave radio equipment
- Climbing and working at heights safely
- Fault finding comprehension and resolution
- Ability to work with cranes and EWPs
- Upgrading and modifying existing wireless telecommunications sites.
- Test and commission all relevant equipment, including RF call testing.
- Read and interpret drawings, design documentation, product and client specifications.
- Ensure high quality workmanship while maintaining company standards, maintenance service reports, relevant safety and compliance documentation.
- Installation/Recovery of Panel Antennas, Head Frames, Hybrilflex Cables, Feeder Cables, Earthing, Cable Trays, Remote Radio Units;
- Proficient in PIM, VSWR and Sweep Testing; and
