The IT Risk Analyst role is responsible for establishing, amending and documenting IT Controls and Policies across the company such that they are consistent and represent industry best practice and align to standards such as ISO27000 and regulations such as CPS234. We follow the NIST Cyber Security framework in order to strategically base our decisions around cyber security. The role will work proactively and collaboratively in cross-functional, scrum-like teams to deliver commercial and client-focused outcomes in our projects and systems.

**About the Role**
- Key tasks include performing IT risk assessments, IT project risk assessments, 3rd party IT testing and questionnaires, and any other reviews as identified across all aspects of information technology environment.
- Documentation of ITIL policies and IT controls.
- Proactively track issues for remediation, track actions and provide updates and status.
- Working with Management team to continually conduct assessments based on latest information and changes to the landscape either internally or externally.
- Work with BAU and Project teams to implement and monitor the workings of IT controls which have been defined and agreed by the management team
- Contribute to regular meetings around Risk and IT Security.
- Adhere to the IT risk program standards, utilizing industry best practice frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, NIST, SOX, PCI-DSS, CPS234, etc., and ensure employee compliance with security controls and deficiencies.
- Co-ordinating and facilitating awareness and training for information technology risk program elements to ensure that risk responsibilities are understood and carried out throughout the organisation.

**Prerequisite Skills and Experience**:

- Experience in and knowledge of the finance industry very highly regarded
- 5+ years direct commercial experience as a IT Risk specialist.
- A keen entrepreneurial, and business-oriented mindset - someone that likes getting things done, not just getting things “right”
- Experience working in geographically distributed project teams
- Learning systems quickly in a document-light environment
- Experience using collaboration tools like Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence)
- Experience in cross-functional, scrum-like project teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Keen interest in furthering knowledge of business and technology environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly communicate regulatory requirements, technical controls and solutions will be key to this role
- Highly developed communication and customer service skills - particularly with non-technical stakeholders

- An under graduate degree in a relevant area of studies
