**Optimal Stormwater **is a leader in auditing, design, operation and construction of stormwater quality assets including gross pollution traps, sediment ponds, trash racks, and water-sensitive urban designs. Complimenting this is our auditing, operation, and maintenance services for stormwater, rainwater, and groundwater harvesting schemes.

We are seeking to employ a

Civil Draftsperson

to join its team of engineering professionals in our North Shore office.

ABOUT THE ROLE.

As a Civil Draftsperson, you will be a valued member of the drafting team and will work closely alongside the senior drafters, designers and engineers to design and coordinate civil and water urban development projects. With the guidance and mentorship of a senior, your portfolio will boast mid to large-scale civil urban development and water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Australia and overseas.

DUTIES.

Preparing sketches, charts and tables, specifications, details, and plans for engineering works such as drainage, watersupply, sewerage reticulation systems, water reuse systems, roads, and various urban infrastructure projects

Receive hands-on guidance and mentorship to deliver your projects

Assist the civil and water team to ensure all projects are delivered on time

Liaise with engineers, designers, senior drafters, and other stakeholders

Manage the drafting & design using AutoCAD, Drains, HEC-RAS, PIPES, MUSIC and other software as required

Prepare Process Flow Diagrams, Process and Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID) for water, wastewater, and any water reuse schemes utilising AutoCAD

With input from electrical and mechanical engineers, prepare electrical and mechanical drawings for water and wastewater treatment plants including water reuse facilities

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

Relevant qualification (Diploma or higher) or substantial work experience (5 years +).

Highly proficient with AutoCAD software

Knowledge of water and wastewater processes and relevant Australian Guidelines and Standards

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

SALARY: $72,000 + superannuation
