An exciting opportunity exists for a Coordinator Teaching and Research Services, to join our dynamic team.
- From $99,739 to $108,139 (HEW 7) p.a. plus 17% super and annual leave loading
- Full-time, continuing
- Based at Wallumattagal campus, North Ryde.

THE ROLE
- This is a new role in Academic Library Services and works closely with the Manager Teaching and Research Services. In this role you will coordinate and deliver high quality teaching and research support services, projects and programs. The role also provides discipline specific advice and support to teaching and research staff and students in the Faculty of Science & Engineering, and the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences.- A full list of accountabilities for the role is available in the Position Description._
- About You
- You will bring your skills and expertise in the provision of in-depth advice and support in relation to access and effective use of information resources as well as experience in identifying and evaluating these resources to ensure Library collections meet disciplinary learning, teaching and research needs. Your excellent communication and presentation skills will be essential in the delivery of these services.- You have a track record of successfully coordinating, implementing and evaluating projects, products and services to meet identified teaching and research information and skills support needs. You will be able to demonstrate the skills and experience required to work with multiple systems and productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint as well as Library Management systems and online information resources.- You will have experience in working collaboratively with colleagues, academics, researchers and students and skills in building and in managing successful and complex partnerships. Experience in supporting the relevant disciplines (? Sam help with wording ?) would be advantageous.- About Us

- on offer.- To Apply- SELECTION CRITERIA- Degree in a relevant discipline such as information management, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, qualifications and training.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in coordinating the development, implementation and evaluation of client-focused, innovative services, programs and/or initiatives, including managing competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to provide in-depth advice and support for complex enquiries related to effective use of information resources and scholarly communication tools within the designated academic disciplines.
- Demonstrated skills in the compilation, analysis and reporting of relevant data to inform decision making, planning and work process improvements.
- Experience in the development and evaluation of collections and services in supporting the information needs of client groups
- Demonstrated skills and experience in building and successfully managing partnerships with clients and stakeholders and working collaboratively across teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and demonstrated excellence in business writing.
