Position summary

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for Mobile Maintenance Technicians within Downer for future work.

WHO WE ARE

Downer Rail a leading name in the manufacturing and maintenance of rolling stock across Australia has some exciting opportunities for a number of Mobile Maintenance Technicians to join our team in VIC - Pakenham. These are full time shift work positions, and are to be filled on a rolling programme in conjunction with HCMT train delivery.

The Mobile Maintenance Technicians will conduct both preventative and reactive train maintenance of the HCMT at the dedicated maintenance depot at Pakenham. The role will consist of electrical and mechanical tasks and may involve providing a mobile maintenance support service at various network locations.

**About You**:
Electrical and/ or Mechanical trade qualifications

Train maintenance or Test Technician experience will be highly regarded

Previous experience working in Rail, heavy maintenance or asset management environment is preferred

Ability to interpret technical documents such as electrical drawings and operation manuals

Superior communication, attention to detail and time management skills

Can-do, ambitious, energetic and flexible attitude essential

Hands on with the ability to work unsupervised and within a team environment
