Production Manager

Duties will include:

- Design and manage installation of all brewing equipment systems to suit Hoppers Brewery, including managing relationships with suppliers.
- Devise and put in place production strategy and an implementation plan to design and develop new products for Hoppers brewing co, such as but not limited to new beer styles, distillery products, beer brandy and soda
- Head up our research and development for our future production goals including production methods and making recommendations and managing their implementation
- Manage production records and reports and monitor production costs and output and managing processes and resources to achieve business goals (output quality and quantity).
- Work with hop and grain farmers and wholesalers to secure the correct products and manage supply contracts
- Inform and coordinate with other managers to ensure strategic production goals are achieved.
- Manage and planning procurement of brewing and packaging to line up with production schedule including maintenance, operating hours and tools.
- Run brewery tours and information sessions on brewing in the business
- Co-ordinate with international industry leaders in the continual development of craft brewing in Australia through the implementation of new sustainable brewing equipment and practices.
- Manage employees and provide a platform to train junior brewing personnel and continue to develop employee talent in Australia and monitor performance and comply with occupational health and safety legislation.

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years production management experience as a Head Brewer
- Strong communication skills and computer literacy and technological skills to support communication tasks, record keeping, project management and resource management.
- Possess engineering and mechanical skills to maintain and install brewing equipment.
- Able to innovate and continually improve to identify ways to improve production and develop new types of beer and spirits.

The expectation is that successful applicant will become a key manager in the Hoppers org structure.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
