We currently have an exciting opportunity for a EHS Coordinator to join our established team in Bayswater, VIC. Reporting to the EHS Head, this is a pivotal role in supporting our EHS team and helping to reinforce our safety culture.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the EHS safety management plans for Siemens
- Undertaking independent system audits and develop and monitor safety performance indicators
- Assist with the maintenance of EHS dashboards, analysing associated data and assisting with the preparation of reports.
- Ensuring consultation & communication activities are being undertaken across Siemens business units
- Supporting key safety governance committees as required including the Siemens Leadership Team
- EHS Risk Management - Participate in the development and maintaining of Project Risk Registers
- Supporting the management of Workers Compensation Return to Work for Injured employees, maintain case files, return to work plans
- Delivering training packages for key safety management procedures or specific training required due to the introduction of new procedures, policies, and standards.
- Incident Reporting and Investigation
- Experience in mental health or wellbeing coordination would be advantageous
In order to be successful in this role you will need to be an inspiring team player, with a problem-solving attitude. You will have a continuous improvement mindset and a keen eye for detail. You will also have the ability to understand new systems and process easily and be prepared to help drive projects around safety leadership and process enhancements. Experience in a similar EHS role is desirable, as is an electrical background. You will also require a minimum tertiary qualification of a Cert IV in Work Health & Safety.
Experience in Tableau or Excel, and an interest in Environmental topics would be highly regarded. Please also note that this role has an element of interstate travel.
