We are an independent grocery and liquor store, providing a convenient and community focused shopping experience for our local customers. As an independent retailer, we strive to provide and maintain a community focused relationship with our customers. This ensures we continually evolve our product range to best suit our customer’s needs.

We are looking for a diligent, hard-working and passionate Department Manager to manage the fresh produce section of our newly renovated store in Altona.

This role requires the following:

- Good communication and management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
- Liaise with suppliers and foster positive relationships
- Highly organised and efficient
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to multi-task and meet KPI’s
- Positive ''can do'' attitude
- Flexibility across retail trading hours and days including public holidays

Previous managerial experience in a supermarket industry will be highly regarded for this role.

**Salary**: From $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Altona, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
