Join us as an Pavilion Assistant in Livestock at the Melbourne Royal Show This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of one of Melbourne's most anticipated and cherished gatherings. As an enthusiastic and dependable team member, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of various event activities.

**Key Responsibilities**: Reporting to our dedicated team leads, your role will encompass a wide range of essential tasks:

- Assist in the setup of event precincts, including the transportation of equipment and materials.
- Provide support during livestock arrivals and departures, guiding participants and managing animal movement.
- Contribute to the cleanliness and maintenance of event areas, including waste removal, cleaning, and ensuring safe walkways.
- Maintain the hygiene of wash facilities and outdoor spaces.
- Ensure public areas are clean and orderly, guiding attendees to ensure their safety around event features.
- Offer guidance to both the public and event participants, helping them navigate the event smoothly.
- Promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Assist with exhibitor and public inquiries in a friendly and informative manner.
- Play a part in the efficient closure of event pavilions to the public.
- Be adaptable and ready to take on general tasks as required to support the event's success.

**Key Competencies**: To excel in this role, you should possess the following competencies:

- Previous experience in event or operations roles is advantageous.
- Comfortable working in dynamic and vibrant event environments.
- Ability to handle tasks related to cleanliness and waste management.
- Physical stamina and the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.

- Capacity to follow instructions accurately, whether verbal or written.
