**The Healthlink Crew are looking for our next Catering Assistant to help operate our Burwood commercial kitchen.**

**Who are we?**
The Healthlink Crew (THC) are a multifaceted company focussed on delivering delicious, contemporary food with a modern twist. Our team is friendly and welcoming with a strong collaborative culture. Our head office is based in Burwood, we have been operating for over 15 years (since 2005), with our 6 cafe sites found within popular Aquatic and Recreation Centres. We also provide catering from small to large private and corporate events. The Healthlink Crew have also extended the brand to provide a new sub-brand, called Portions - this is focussed on delivering fresh, nutritious, and ready-made meals.

**Job includes**:

- **Early starts**:

- 4-6 days a week
- Varying Friday and Weekend nights.
- Must be available Sundays
- Approx. 20-38 hours per week
- Light lifting

**Preparing but not limited to**:

- Fresh salads, Focaccia, Fresh cut items
- Bulk meal prepping & baking.
- Corporate & private catering function.
- Large functions plating events.
- Knowledgeable across multiple cuisines.
- Experience in all these above areas not essential but does help.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in catering industry, particularly in and around staff supervision and/or food purchasing
- Have a full understanding of OH&S in a kitchen.
- **Confidently use a combi oven**:

- Experience in bulk cooking.
- **Skill and flair in presentation**:

- Retain good leadership skills, deliver outstanding products and service consistently.
- Be able to communicate clearly.
- Be reliable, work well in a team.
- Have a car
- **Food Handler certificate, Supervisor is a must.**:

- Knowledge of maintaining inventory

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour
