**Join Seven Network as our new Trainee Video Editor**

**The Opportunity**:
A new and exciting opportunity has opened for a full-time **Trainee Video Editor** to join the Seven Creative team on a two-year traineeship.

**Based at our head office in Eveleigh, Sydney and reporting to the Operations Manager you’ll be responsible for**:

- Quickly and accurately editing on-air promos to the required specifications, including placement of time supers, classifications, and audio.
- Creating different versions of promos, changing the relevant time and date details according to when the promo will be aired.
- Ensuring any abnormalities or grading issues on the promo are corrected and the technical quality of the promo is ready for broadcast.

Please note, this role is a full-time role, covering an 8am - 8:30pm rotating roster between Monday to Friday.

**About You**:
**You will have**:

- 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar video editing position
- Tertiary qualification related to the field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with Avid Media Composer (preferred)
- A solid foundation of computer-savvy skills, demonstrating exceptional proficiency in digital technology.
Experience with Avid Media Composer (preferred)
- An enthusiasm and eagerness to learn and adapt to new software and hardware.
- A team player who is eager to learn and grow in their career.
- Experience or interest in coding
- This role is a full-time role, covering an 8 am - 8:30 pm rotating roster from Monday to Friday. There is no work from home available for this role.
