**About MyFirstGym**

The MyFirstGym Mission is to help children live a healthier and more active lifestyle, to combat the ongoing increase in child obesity. With 9 out of 10 children not getting the recommended amount of movement each day, we're having a positive impact by making fitness fun and exciting for members.

Since our launch, MyFirstGym has gained much traction in the youth fitness space with 9 clubs across QLD and 4 in NSW, our 1st in VIC and more in the pipeline.

We made it our mission to supply a one-stop fitness shop for busy parents with children from as young as 7 months through to 13 years of age. At the heart of our brand is inspiring movement and we do this by creating magic moments in our clubs that make a difference to the lives of all of our parents and their members.

**About the role of Club Manager**

"MyFirstGym" Club Manager is a business and people leadership role responsible for the overall performance of the Gym. This includes building a positive member experience, quality member service and providing a premium kids fitness offering.

**"MyFirstGym" Manager's Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**
- Create a club based value proposition that increases the visitation frequency of members and positively impacts the overall member retention of the gym
- As the primary driver of the sales acquisition strategy you are responsible for achieving the sales goals and targets
- Take full ownership in proactively attracting and recruiting quality staff who share the same values of MyFirstGym
- Create a high performance staff environment that delivers excellence in work, professionalism, maturity and personal standards at all times
- Develop, reward and retain all staff through effective performance management and performance reviews
- Build a gym culture that focuses on quality member experience by leading by example and demonstrating first class member service
- Ensure that all parts of the gym meet the high level of cleaning standards to contribute to a positive member experience at all times
- Analysis and discuss financial management reports and information with key staff members to identify trends, opportunities and threats. Use this information to make informed business decisions and also when developing gym strategies
- Ensure that member related issues are resolved urgently and, in a manner, consistent with the mission, vision and values of the company

**Skills and experience required**
- Experience in managing people in a fast paced and goal orientated business environment
- A proven track record in direct sales and sales management, meeting KPI and sales targets from a weekly to quarterly basis
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise
- Previous success in Managing multiple business and operational areas effectively at the one time
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Experienced in coaching and supporting staff members via Personal Development and Personal Improvement Plans
- Strong member / customer management experience
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to lead by example and manage and support an effective team
- Ability to be able to build and create a strong community culture within an organisation

**Working with Children Check/Blue Card**:
MyFirstGym, including the Franchisee and Management are committee to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in accordance with the MyFirstGym Child and Youth management strategy. MyFirstGym requires all applicants to undergo satisfactory screening prior to their commencement. Any successful applicants will be required to adhere to the MyFirstGym Child and Youth Management Strategy including an induction and ongoing training.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
