Veterinary Receptionist

East Doncaster Vet Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a superstar veterinary receptionist to join our hardworking, compassionate and friendly team on a full-time basis.

Our new receptionist will be the heartbeat of our clinic, whose role is to ensure our clients feel like family and their pets love every moment of their visit to us. Organised, efficient and most of all personable, our receptionist will be responsible for running all things at front of house and ensuring we continue to provide the very best service to our wonderful clients.

We are a busy small animal clinic, with an interesting and varied caseload and our receptionist will support our team in the delivery of exceptional customer service. A busy and varied role, with no Sunday or public holiday work and a rotating 1 in 4 Saturday shift, you will be a lover of animals with a real passion for their wellbeing.

Previous animal care experience is not essential, but would be advantageous to get you hitting the ground running in this role.

Ideally our new team member will have the following:

- Experience handling multiple calls in a busy environment and greeting clients in a genuine friendly manner
- Exceptional people skills and a genuine interest in making long lasting relationships with our clients and their pets
- Excellent multi-tasking abilities
- A positive, friendly and approachable demeanor with the ability to keep calm with competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and intermediate to advanced computer experience
- Experience answering phones and running a reception area is essential

**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

- Australia (preferred)
