- We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Media Officer to join the Social and Content team within the Strategic Communications and Engagement Branch._

**About this role**
The **Social Media Officer** schedules, monitors, moderates, and coordinates social and online communications to inform the health system and the community of health initiatives and raise awareness of public health issues and services. This role maintains and supports social media content and management systems for the NSW Ministry of Health channels and related organisations.

It involves collaboration with other NSW Government agencies, a broad range of internal stakeholders and Local Health Districts. The aim is to support the NSW Ministry of Health to deliver behavioural change on key health issues and raise awareness and increase uptake of programs.

**Crown Clerk Grade 5/6,** salary from $89,707 - $98,982 p.a. plus super and annual leave loading.

**What you'll be doing**
The Social Media Officer works within the team to:

- Develop social media content to ensure all NSW Health social media feeds contain high quality, engaging and coordinated information for all stakeholders.
- Ensure content available on NSW Health social media channels is compliant with NSW Government standards and guidelines to service the wider community and stakeholders.
- Moderate across the NSW Health social media channels to maintain strong and positive communities, and report insights from community feedback and response.
- Measure, monitor, report and review the NSW Health social media channels, through web analytics and other monitoring tools - collaborating to improve quality, accessibility and effectiveness of key messages.
- Identify new opportunities to distribute content to continually enhance communication and marketing strategies.

**About you**
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:

- At least three years’ experience working directly in social media as part of a previous role
- A passion for social media and digital communication, with an interest in driving creativity and innovation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within a small, dynamic team environment
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality and strong attention to detail
