VANDEN MEDIA is on the lookout for a keen video editor who wants to create, learn, and craft digital assets that inspire and educate.

**Who are we?**

We are **Vanden Media**.

Vanden Media is a young company that creates digital content for educators.

Currently we are in the Business Coaching and the Fitness Coaching spaces with plans to expand

**What are we looking for?**

Someone who understands video and has been doing it for a while. You know what is cool, you also know what is sh1te. You have a keen attention to detail and love it when the edit hits just right.

We are looking for a lead editor to come on board and handle all aspects of post production.

**We primarily create**:

- Vertical Reels from Podcasts (think Diary of a CEO)
- Longform Podcast Videos (think Modern Wisdom)
- Paid Advertisement Content (think Sabri Suby)
- YouTube Educational Content (think Alex Hormozi)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Editing Video for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Podcast.
- Communicating with clients about current projects, revisions, and timelines.
- Uploading content to our servers and keeping files organised.

**What you will need to bring to the role**:

- Minimum 2 years or experience editing short form content.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere or ideally Davinci Resolve.
- Strong eye for details.
- Taste for what is current and relevant on social platforms.
- An attitude that is excited about growth, self improvement and team work.
- Ability to manage large amounts of footage. For example creating 10 Reels/Shorts out of a 1 hr podcast.

**Skills you need to have.**
- Confidently bring LOG footage to life.
- Understanding framing, what is flattering and what is not.
- Ability to choose music that fits the vibe of what is on screen.
- A taste for what is current and will pop off on socials.
- Adding captions to videos.
- Basic animation (zoom ins, moving text ect).

**Extras that make you extremely valuable**
- You own a camera and have edited your own footage for years (show us some work)
- You know how to craft and shoot a sick video
- You live in Sydney or ideally Newcastle AUS
- You want to grow and become better everyday

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
