**Arts Officer**

**Salary Range is $78,000 - $88,000 per annum plus 11% super**

**_ New Industrial Agreement 2024 with pay rises in July 2024, 2025 & 2026_**

**What You Will Be Working On**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Plan, implement, and evaluate community arts initiatives, fostering engagement, participation, and cohesion.
- Manage and enhance the City’s Art Collection, ensuring its preservation, expansion, and value to the community.
- Research, implement and document public art projects across the City as required
- Develop and sustain effective working relationships and partnerships with stakeholders.
- Coordinate and prepare relevant reports and submissions, including grant and external funding opportunities.

**About You**
- Relevant qualifications or experience in arts-related areas.
- Strong commitment to ongoing learning and community engagement.
- Experience in managing public art projects and grants.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software/tools (e.g. MOSAiC), desirable, not essential.
- Ability to obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children check.
