**Purpose of the Role**:
The purpose of the Instrumentation Monitoring role is to ensure safe and effective management of the selection, installation, calibration and commissioning of instrumentation on new and existing crushing, screening and process plants. In addition, supply guidance with all breakdowns, safely and efficiently, completing all installations and upgrades as directed by the relevant Site Managers.

**Qualifications**:

- Current WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical License
- Instrument Fitting Ticket
- Current C Cass drivers license
- White Card
- High Voltage Ticket
- Recognised Certificates of Competency for other skills such as Dogging, Rigging and/or Elevated Work Platforms.
- Senior First Aid certificate.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role - preferred
- Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works

**Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:

- Carry out installations and changes to electrical/instrument systems, in compliance with all statutory requirements and comply with all relevant standards and codes.
- Carry out all statutory checks and inspections as required.
- Carry out calibrations as required
- Maintain accurate records of all calibrations and inspections.
- Supervise installation and calibration of instrumentation installed on the Snowy 2.0 project
- Assist with commissioning activities on site as required
- Liaise with Mechanical project engineers to ensure correct process fittings are installed for the relevant instrumentation.
- Liaise with Mechanical project engineers to ensure instrumentation selected for process meets all requirements.
- Assisting maintenance workers with maintenance and servicing of Plant and Equipment during Plant shutdowns and breakdowns.
- Compliance with all Company & Site Rules and Regulations as stipulated by the Company and/or the Principal.
- Compliance with all Safety Rules and Procedures to ensure all work is undertaken in a safe manner at all times.
- Participation in any Safety or Training initiatives identified and implemented by the Company and/or the Principal.
- Care and maintenance of all Personal Protective Equipment supplied to you by the Company for safe performance of the job.
- Care and maintenance of any tools or equipment provided to you to assist with your performance of given tasks.
- Providing input and feedback for Plant and Operational improvements.
- Operate plant and equipment within safe working limits and current personal competencies, training and qualifications.
