**About the role**

The TQEH Nutrition and Dietetic Assistant contributes to an efficient and effective patient meal service which includes responsibility for patient menu administration and associated duties, meal ordering and modification, checking and following up patients with complex diets, liaising with food services & clinical staff, assisting with audits, and contributing to on the job training of trainee staff and work experience students. The role also provides assistance and support to the Nutrition and Dietetics team in the delivery of allied health services to patients/clients of TQEH, under the supervision of an allied health professional.

**Qualifications**
- Eligible and willing to undertake Allied Health Assistance Certificate Level 3 Training.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
