About the Role
CAV is looking for enthusiastic individuals who are keen to use their skills and aptitudes to positively contribute to operations of its Investigation Services Branch (ISB) located at 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne. We are looking for dynamic, professional and experienced investigators to join our team.
The role includes investigating potential breaches of consumer law, under supervision and guidance, and contributing to compliance and enforcement actions, including Court and Tribunal actions using the department's integrated compliance and enforcement approach.
To be considered for the role you will need to have demonstrated experience in conducting investigations and implementing operational policies, procedures, and practices within a regulatory or integrity environment. This role also provides guidance to staff and contributes to the strategic direction of the ISB and CAV as a whole.

About You
- Demonstrated experience in investigations
- A relevant knowledge of and/ or demonstrated experience preparing and supporting enforcement proceedings in Courts and Tribunals

Qualifications/Requirements
- Certificate IV in Government (Investigations) or equivalent is highly desirable. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Economics, Law or other related fields may be considered.
- Minimum 2 years previous investigative and compliance/enforcement experience.
- A current Driver's Licence.
