1 x Permanent Part Time Position (10 Hours per week - Moe)

$28.77 per hour + Industry allowance plus 10.5% superannuation

Casual positions available - (Across Moe, Traralgon and Surrounds)

$35.96 per hour + Industry Allowance and 10.5% Superannuation

**About this Role**

As a School Crossing Supervisor, you’ll play an integral role in our community by helping to provide a safe environment for children on their way to and from school giving families peace of mind, knowing they will be crossing those busy roads safely.

Responsibilities in the role will include.
- To ensure a high standard of safety on all school crossings in the Latrobe City Council.
- To supervise the morning and afternoon use of the school crossing throughout school terms.
- To carry out all duties in accordance with the VicRoads Instructions booklet.
- To promote a positive community attitude to crossing supervision by motorists and pedestrians.
- To develop good relationships with the children and encourage road safety and use of crossings.

School Crossing shifts are for 1 hour in the morning and afternoon and times are dependent on the school operating times.

**You will need**:

- Open and friendly nature
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and positively with children and other road users.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise judgement in all traffic conditions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current VicRoads Traffic Regulations.

- Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment medical check as required.
