**A brief overview of the role**

As a Bus Driver at Morgan Glen Iris, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an outstanding person-centered experience for our residents, their families, guests, and the wider community. Your primary responsibility will be to operate our Village shuttle bus service with a focus on safety, efficiency, resident satisfaction and ensure that transportation services align with resident needs and preferences.

**What will I be doing day to day in this role?**
- Shuttle Service Operations: Your primary responsibility will be operating our Village shuttle bus service, ensuring timely and safe transportation for residents to various destinations, including local excursions and appointments. You'll conduct daily inspections of the bus to ensure it's in optimal condition for travel.
- Collaboration and Coordination: You'll work closely with the Lifestyle Coordinator to coordinate transportation for programs and activities, providing logístical support to ensure smooth execution. This may involve liaising with external providers and contractors to coordinate transportation for off-site events.
- Maintenance and Reporting: In addition to driving responsibilities, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the bus, reporting any maintenance issues promptly. You'll also assist in maintaining accurate records of transportation activities and mileage for reporting purposes.
- Orientation and Support: You'll play a role in welcoming new residents by familiarizing them with transportation services and assisting with their transition into community life.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: As resident needs and schedules may vary, flexibility and adaptability are key. You'll be prepared to adjust your schedule as needed to accommodate special events, appointments, or resident requests.
- Safety First: Above all, you'll prioritize the safety and comfort of our residents during transportation, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.

**Salary and Job Hours**

We’re offering $24-26 per hour depending on your experience. You’ll also have access to our generous Not for Profit salary packaging scheme, which enables you to increase your take-home pay by packaging up to $15,900 of your annual salary plus further Meals and Entertainment benefits.

You’ll be working Tuesday 9:30am - 12:30pm and Thursday 11:30am - 2:30pm

This is a permanent, part-time role.

**Mandatory Job Requirements**
- Full driver’s license, comfortable with driving a 12-seater bus.
- A clear National Police Check, completed within the last two years.
- First Aid, CPR and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualifications.
